I guess I paint the way one might play a game of chess. Based on the existing situation on the canvas, I make a move when I choose a new colour and apply it with the squeegee. Then I wait for it to dry usually a day, before I photograph it and evaluate what is on the canvas - seeking always to see what is there, not what I think is there.
